Cher Scores 31st Billboard Adult Contemporary Hit With 'I Hope You Find It'

Cher
Cher's 'I Hope You Find It' has entered Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart at #24.

'Closer To The Truth' ballad 'I Hope You Find It' has become the second single from the album to hit Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart - which consists of the most popular songs on US adult contemporary radio stations. It follows - and betters - first single 'Woman's World', which peaked at #28 on the chart last year.

The March 2014 début appearance of 'I Hope You Find' on the adult contemporary chart will come as a bit of a surprise to some due to its late arrival - the song was performed on US TV months ago between September and November 2013 on 'The Today Show', 'Late Show with David Letterman', 'Live with Kelly and Michael' and 'Dancing With The Stars', and in those months, became a hit single in Austria, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The brilliant ballad's A.C. chart placement will show up on the Billboard website on Thursday. Remaining number one on the chart will be Katy Perry's 'Roar'. Queen of longevity Cher topped the chart more than a decade before Perry was even born, with 'All I Ever Need Is You' in 1971. She now has 31 hits on the chart...

  1. This is a hard chart to get on because it IS driven from USA Radio. The AC Chart is a tough chart to move up on since AC stations do not vary their playlist as much as POP and R&B. Older women seldom if ever get on this chart. They used to but now the USA AC chart is so similar to what is on the Billboard Hot 100. Katy Perry's ROAR is in its 15th week now at #1. Getting on the Billboard AC Chart is a big deal unlike the Billboard Dance chart that is super easy.
