Just A Rumour? Probably! Chaz To Host 'Saturday Night Live' and Cher To Perform

Jessica Lefevre from website 'Ear Sucker' has stated that 'Saturday Night Live' producers are aiming for Chaz to be a guest-host on an episode of the show.

She wrote that a source had said, "Chaz has been flooded with offers since becoming a DWTS contestant – he’s becoming a Hollywood sensation.

Music producer RedOne, most famous for his work with Lady Gaga, has been talking to MTV News about the track.

He said "[Gaga and I] recorded the song a few years ago, and we were always in the studio enjoying that song. It's weird we never did anything with it. So I remember my management and Cher's management were trying to get us together, and I thought, 'Oh my God, I'd love to meet Cher, just to meet her!' And so I met her, I played her some songs

42 year old Chaz Bono performed his first dance earlier this week on 'Dancing with The Stars', with partner Lacey Schwimmer. He has sinced shared that his superstar mother, Cher, cried when watching the show at home.

As the release of Cher's new single approaches us, I take a look at details of her upcoming album.

Cher's new album, which is planned for release around January/December, will be her 25th solo studio album. It will be her first since 2001's Gold-certified 'Living Proof'.

The star has reportedly been working with Timbaland, Diane Warren, J-Roc, RedOne and Lady Gaga for the album.

One track which has been widely publicised is the album's lead single, 'The Greatest Thing'. Written by Lady Gaga and produced by RedOne, the ballad was originally set for release at some point this month.

40 Years Ago: Gypsies Tramps & Thieves Reached The Charts!

On 18th September 1971, exactly 40 years ago, one of Cher's biggest and best singles made its debut on the US Singles Chart.

Tour'"Gypsies Tramps and Thieves", backed with the beautiful "He'll Never know", appeared at number 88 on the US Hot 100, on this day in 1971. It would be one of Cher's biggest comebacks of her entire career. Just by reaching that position alone, the single had already become Cher's biggest hit since "You Better Sit Down Kids", released in late 1967. All tracks since then had been missing the top 100, but this single showed that Cher was back on top, literally.

Chaz Bono, the son of Cher, has recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about competing on the new season of 'Dancing With The Stars'. During the recording of the episode yesterday, the 42-year-old received a surprise phone call from his mother.

Cher Is A No-Show On TV Dance Show

Cher has no plans to appear on 'Dancing With The Stars' in support of Chaz.

Contrary to various news sources, music icon Cher has not made any plans to appear on 'Dancing With The Stars' for when son Chaz Bono appears on the show as a competitor.

The singer's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, told 'TheWrap' that "There are not plans for Cher to be at the show."

This was in response to a 'TMZ' report stating that the 'Burlesque' star
would be in the audience for at least one taping.

Comic Book Series To Shine A Ray Of Light On Cher's Life

The Hilary Clinton edition of The Female Force comic book seriesSuperstar Cher will become the subject of a comic book later this year.

Fans of music legend Cher will be able to see her career documented in a comic book, as Bluewater Productions plan to make her the subject of an edition of their "Female Force" Comic Book Series later this year.

The "Female Force" comic series is filled with influential women who have shaped modern history and culture. Others featured in the series include Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie. Fellow singer Madonna has became the subject of the latest edition in the series.

Singer Cher has defended son Chaz Bono due to him being "viciously attacked on blogs and message boards" after 'Dancing With The Stars' announced he would be a competitor on the show.

Chaz Bono, the son of super-couple Sonny & Cher, will be the first transgender contestant to appear on "Dancing With The Stars" when the upcoming series begins.

As soon as the 42 year old was revealed as one of the stars for this year's series, some people were evidently not happy about the decision, as Message boards and blogs lit up with angry responses.
